Jubilee Campus, Nottingham, Notts

There's a resident Grey Heron on the small lake at work (Jubilee Campus). There's enough Koi in the lake to keep it hanging around, but I've never seen it actually catch anything. It's pretty tame, allowing the student masses to walk within a meter of it on the lakeside walkway. It's often perched on the top of the buildings, including the one opposite my office. The weather was awful today, and the heron was perched on top of our building in the rain. Just outside my office is a glass bridge/walkway, which is close to the glass roof. I snapped this quick shot with the camera on my phone.
